Nearly forgot about posting the topic thingy.

Actually i've got only one topic:

(1) Differing viewpoints

What is our position on deviant (both extreme and slight) viewpoints within Christianity? Do you think there is room for more than one accepted interpretation of the Bible? And other things like that.

This topic can be taken many places:

Like for example, when discussing different views of who God is, it would be natural to reexamine what we think God is. And when discussing different sets of morality, we could also explore many other messy things. It'll be fun!

Well, looks like I'm the fastest in thinking of two things I wanna do for Sunday school!! :P

Well, I thought of one for the christian walk... Sometimes we know what is right and wrong.. But other times, there are grey areas in life... Where sometimes we are stuck in the midst of everybody's comments about what we do and we are very confused because there are some who says it is right and others wrong... So, in these situations..

(1) How can we hear God's voice in the midst of a storm?

Cause only God is all-knowing and always right... So how can we hear his voice in midst all the confusion and do the right thing when it seems that a decision seems to create all the wrong consequences...? Yup

Another thing is that in life... God is every part of our lives and he is practically the air that we breathe... But sometimes we meet friends who feel lost or deep in the darkness and can't find God in their lives.. At that period of time..

(2) How as a friend can we help our christians friends find their way back to God?

Cause sometimes we also feel this way in life.. Weary and tired and can't seem to find God in our lives.. So both for ourselves and for our friends.. What part as a friend, with what kind of knowledge from the bible can we help them? Yup

So thats the two things I wanna talk about!! :P THanks

Yep its me Zhi Fei here. finally get to post something here because b4 that i didnt manage to open the invitation from Nigel bout this blog. For some reason, either my email auto send the mail to junk or i accidentally deleted it.

So u guys still having exams now or finish le? Seeing from the post by Nigel(I guess ba), at least one of u all finish le right. Exams can realli be a terror or challenge or joy depending how u look at it. I remember last time when i took exams, there were times when I realli felt confident with all the aqequate preparation and it seems like the questions I can handle them. It jus seems like finally everything i have studied, or at least 1 percent of it have come to use haha. HOwever there were also times when i started the paper with a heavy heart, starin blankly at the questions with alot of the terms or questions I have no idea what they are at all. No matter which situation u are facing, Always remember God wants to share the burdens or joy with u as u go thru this period. So as a student I always like this phrase, "Do ur best, and Let God do the Rest! " .

OH ya by the way it Has been one week since im in Hk. Ate quite alot of Dim Sum as well as local food, some of which similar to Singapore like Laksa, Won ton Mee and Chi CHar. Cant wait to go for some sports or exercise after like shopping, eating n sleeping over here. Haa. Cos i am currently stayin in the Central Area, like the CBD kind in HK island. So its like my vicinity is all buildings and banks, hard to find place for exercise. Also my brother is working, so no one else to accompany me to do sports or jogging, so the inertia is realli strong haha. But praise be to God, jus at this period, I have another group of friends having holidays in university n coming over to HK for holiday. N one of them wants to go hiking at one of the mountainous areas tmr, called Sai Kung. So im realli glad n looking forward to my first hiking trip of my life haha. not considering those enforced-by-the-army and dirty ones.

Im definitely on for Jamming, depending whether i can get my part-time job as Ministry of Manpower surveyor. When im back in June, let me know more about it. I can sing, play keyboard or guitar also can haha. Jio me leh. And Nigel u got to teach me more of the latest christian songs which youths listen to more. haha. So that i wont be that out of touch also.

Exams?

Seeing that blogger has been down for SUCH a long time... I'm guessing we were either busy with exams or just lazy to come and update the blog :P... Anyway,...

How were the exams? It must have a tough period for all of us... Well, for our school's mid years, lets just say it was not ideal like at all... So, well, guess God was trying to tell me to study much MORE before hand rather than just a week (not even effective) of revision...

But there were many other papers that without his grace that I would not have passed... So, thank you Lord for being there for all of us in this time of exams :)...

Oh just for all the guys information, DSA application forms are up on the various JC websites, if interested go have a look. DPA would start only on 11 july. :):)

Well, well :)... I was thinking that since I had some time on my hands, I thought I'll fix up the group blog since we all have been talking about it for such a long time... Cause you know... we can post up any updates in our lives, prayer requests and events or suggestions up here :).

So, since I got this blog up, I'll guess I'll start off the posts... Well, life's been ok and all.. With the many assignments I need to meet and the all demanding CCA.. Its really by God's grace and all that other than studying everyday, I still can find time to rest... But it has resulted in me losing track of my QT!! AHHHH... But since today's a holiday (due to founder's day..) I'll take some time today and catch up on my QT...

Oh, I got to clear some air too... To the people who know.. I don't really like her anymore... Well, ever since I got over the fact that she won't really like me and stuff... And have moved on... So, ya... I haven't really found the time to tell you all but ya... Here it is...

Well, that about it... Can't wait till April... CCA STEP-DOWN!! WOOHOO~~
